3. ON A SEPARATE PIECE OF PAPER, write out a thesis statement for this poem.  This must explicitly include a theme and author’s judgment of that theme.
4. Under your thesis statement, list 3 IMPORTANT techniques used in the poem.  EXPLAIN why these techniques work to support your thesis.
