When I see you on the street
My hands begin to shiver
Then you smile at me | ||
And my body begins to quiver
"Hey, Katy," | ||
You say, as you're walking by
Thank God, I think, for this boy
While looking towards the sky
You reach out for a hug | ||
And I hug you with a laugh
In the back of my head I'm thinking
"Man, I 'll never take another bath".
I wish I could tell you how I feel
How much I yearn for you inside
But when you come too close
My words just run and hide
Buy one day I hope | ||
That I will get the chance
And then we'll be together
Sharing true romance | ||
