- Keeping in mind the Fresh Language Relay and our work
with the clichéd poem "Roses are red," write your own "love" poem
(suggested length 8-20 lines; you can write more if you wish). By
"love" poem, I mean that your poem must be about love, but it could be a
genuine "love" poem, a heartbroken poem, a revenge poem, etc.
- Before you begin writing, decide on a specific MOOD for
your poem. See Words to Describe Mood
for ideas.
- Final note: Try to use FRESH language. Use
unpredictable images (that still fit your mood) to convey the feelings in
your poem.
