Journal #4 for Death of a Salesman

Complete the following assignment for Wednesday, March 9

Although the stage in Death of a Salesman is always set up with the house as the main focus, we get to see several of the characters outside of, or beyond, the house.  We see Willy, Biff, and the Woman in Boston.  We see Willy, Happy, and Biff in the restaurant.  We see Willy in both Howard's and Charley's offices.  And yet, always these scene changes are done with props brought in and put on stage around the house.  Any theories about these choices within the context and meaning of the play?
