 “The Laughing Man”

This story is two stories in one.  One is about the Comanches, the Chief, and Mary Hudson.  The other, obviously, is about the Laughing Man.

 For this assignment, you must discuss in a few well-developed paragraphs your ideas about how the Laughing Man story works as a metaphor for the other story.  In other words, how does what happens in the Laughing Man story connect on a significant level to what is happening in the outer, Comanche story?
