Character Press Conference Questions for ‘Master Harold’ ...and the Boys

Due for class discussion on Thursday (if you are not signed out) and/or Friday (if you are not signed out).

ALL STUDENTS ARE WELCOME TO COME TO CLASS BOTH DAYS.

Create 5 or more questions to ask of the characters in the play.  Question their motivations, their relationships and dealings with each other, what might happen beyond the play, etc.  We will have an in-class "press conference" on both Thursday and Friday to discuss these questions and characters.*  You may also pose a question on-line for a particular character and answer it according to how you think that character might respond (given textual evidence in the play).  (On-line postings = extra credit!)

Please have your questions written out ahead of time.  Participation points will be awarded during discussion for those people who ask questions and respond in character.

*Unlike the Hamlet discussion like this, we'll be doing a "tag team" sort of press conference with the characters themselves.  I will ask for initial volunteers to portray each character, but each person will get a couple "tag team" cards so if you want to rotate in and become a character (or change characters), you can do so.
