LENINA CROWNE’S STORYLINE

part one

a)      Work as a group to skim from page 37 to the top of page 47 (stop where it says, “‘Or the Caste System…’”).  USING A PENCIL, bracket off all the sections of the story that belong to Lenina’s storyline.  When you think you’ve found them all, call over Ms. Spachman to share your work.

b)      Once Ms. Spachman has approved your work, use a highlighter to either bracket or otherwise mark all the sections for your storyline.  Use the same color you used to mark that storyline with the class.

c)      HOMEWORK:  Carefully read all the sections of your storyline from the beginning of Ch. 3 to the top of p. 47 as though they were all connected.
